Ken the owner of Griffin Models will be 67 in October 2008 and at that time Griffin will stop trading in its current form and specialize on large models (particularly scale) supported by the best quality accessories the market has available. In this process new supply sources not now available in Norway will be added - I can mention already Blue Airlines of Germany and Balsa USA among others. From now, Griffin will concentrate on building and flying real model aeroplanes, models built from kits or drawings. My prognosis is that the "toy aeroplane" (ARTF) will in the next years become more and more expensive as workers in the far east press labour prices up. Already we see internationally a trend back to kit building and the pride and joy of flying a self-built model. The Griffin ambition will continue to strive towards the lowest prices and best quality offered in Scandinavia.
